After performing psychic readings for more than 30 years, I have acquired a definite perspective not only as a consultant but as a client, how to spot a fake psychic.
If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.
You have to understand the origins and purpose of psychic networks. Their job is to make a lot of money, not to help the client. Of course, there are real psychics who are gifted in networking psychic lines, but I have found that most people who work as psychic period advisers, are not real at all. I’m sure you’ve heard now that many fake psychics use scripts and certain formats in performing their psychic readings which are designed to get you hooked.
For example, after getting a psychic reading, you find yourself feeling almost intoxicated, then they have done their job superbly. They may have told you that the person you love from afar actually loves you with all their heart and that you will marry them and be together for the rest of your life, because they know that’s what you want to hear! They give you hope that keeps you calling and calling them until after a while, you see that you have been lied to, you begin to face reality and the truth sinks in…
Now you realize that what they said was not true nor will it ever become true. You will find yourself hurt and disillusioned beyond the ordinary daily disillusionment of your relationship obsessions.
It makes me angry that people in this industry could take advantage of others vulnerabilities and pain in this way!
But that is exactly what they do. And in the end, there is only more pain. And the inevitable distrust of psychics.
It is this “false” paradigm, which has its roots in the psychic telephone networks, which dominate public perception of the profession. But many real psychics around the world are out there and you must make it your business to make sure your psychic advisor has authentic credentials as it is required for any professional practitioner.
I have seen fake psychics who will have almost perfectly brilliant feedback that goes on and on for pages…
Perfect!
You may wonder why this happens.
Simple. After hearing exactly what you want to hear or want to believe verified, you are easily intoxicated by the whole experience.
The ‘reading’ tends to reflect the amazing feelings you were hoping to feel with equally amazing feedback!
Keep in mind this false feedback. It is tactic used by fakes to cheat you.
An authentic psychic counselor has to have a very high level of integrity in order to be comfortable telling the truth regardless of what the client wants to hear.
If the psychic does not tell a client what they want to hear in a reading, the client can leave very bad comments and a bad rating. It is the price that is paid to keep it real. In my experience when I tell a client something they do not want to hear, for the most part, they leave no remark.
Sadly, in that situation, the odd client of mine has gone to look for another psychic who reflects their own feelings about the situation, only to receive bogus and often damaging information.
A reading can be truthful and uplifting without bringing the client down, but you as the client have to be willing to listen to the truth.
So, how to spot a fake psychic?
The test is really in the reading and the results and developing a relationship with a trusted psychic advisor who has been able to connect with you and your energy. But, remember, if what you are being told in a reading sounds too good to be true, then it probably is 😉
